CHLOROPHYLLE

In Chlorophylle dreht sich alles um Verwandlung, fast verstörend, amüsant, aber auch anmutig und dynamisch. Die Metamorphose ist noch nicht abgeschlossen. Die Figuren auf der Leinwand sind im Begriff, sich in Setzlinge, Pflanzen und Ranken zu verwandeln.

Zu dieser Serie hat mich hat ein Naturphänomen inspiriert, in dem einige Tiere zu Pflanzen mutieren und durch Photosynthese weiterleben.

Chlorophylle is all about transformation, almost disturbing, amusing but also graceful and dynamic. The metamorphosis has not been completed yet. The figures on canvas are about to turn into seedlings, plants and tendrils. Painting this series, I was inspired by a phenomenon found in nature, in which some animals turn into plants and continue living through photosynthesis. ⁠⠀
